Who we are

The Ethiopian Community in Manchester is grassroots, non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting refugees, asylum seekers, and new arrivals and other underrepresented communities across Greater Manchester with uniting, empowering belonging and celebrating heritage within the Ethiopian community in Manchester.


Our mission is to preserve and promote Ethiopian culture, language, and values while providing social, educational, and cultural support to our members.

Through community events, cultural celebrations, and outreach programs, we aim to foster a spirit of unity, inclusion, and mutual assistance.


We welcome all individuals who share an interest in Ethiopia, encouraging participation, cultural exchange, and shared growth.

Together, we build a community grounded in respect, pride, and solidarity.
